- American Association of Community Colleges
The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) is the primary advocacy organization for the nation's community colleges. The Association represents more than 1,100 associate degree-granting institutions and some 10 million students. Formed in 1920, AACC is a national voice for community colleges. AACC is leading community colleges as they provide learning opportunities to their students and communities and the nation.
- Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship
The Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship is the place where Great Lakes region entrepreneurs gather to network, learn, and connect. Each year at ACE, you'll join an exciting, forward-thinking community of innovators, entrepreneurs, and business leaders - people like you who have the vision and drive to build new ventures for a new future.
ACE '09 was the ninth year for ACE. The event was held on January 22nd at Washtenaw Community College's Morris Lawrence Building in Ann Arbor. About 550 regional entrepreneurs met for workshops, presentations, to view displays, and to network with peers, support organizations, investors, and service providers.
Each year's ACE event, along with the year-long activities of its supporting organizations, is helping to make the Great Lakes region a better place to start and grow a business.

- Michigan Global Entrepreneurship Week
Michigan is participating in Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), a celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. The Week will bring together millions of young people across the globe through online and local activities and encourage them to think innovatively and unleash their ideas. Through a coordinated effort with many different countries, during one week every year, the world will celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit in hopes of inspiring a new generation of young entrepreneurs.
To date, Michigan has more than 80 partners and sponsors for activities that will take place in 83 counties in Michigan during GEW, November 16-22, 2009."

The National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) is a nationwide network that leads in promoting economic literacy with students and their teachers. NCEE's mission is to help students develop the real-life skills they need to succeed: to be able to think and choose responsibly as consumers, savers, investors, citizens, members of the workforce, and effective participants in a global economy.
- National Dialogue on Entrepreneurship
In the summer of 2003, the Public Forum Institute began work under a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to develop a National Dialogue on Entrepreneurship (NDE) to improve awareness of the value of entrepreneurship. The project is building upon the Forum's extensive background in national dialogues on economic issues and, in particular, a series of events and activities since 2000 focusing on women & entrepreneurship. While only in its initial stages, NDE has reached out to national and regional policymakers and begun a dialogue on the role and value of entrepreneurship to our nation.
- National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship
National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE)'s mission is to teach entrepreneurship to low-income young people, ages 11 through 18, so they can become economically productive members of society by improving their academic, business, technology and life skills. NFTE is viewed as a leader in promoting entrepreneurial literacy among youth.
- Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)
Service Corps of Retired Executives "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to providing entrepreneurs with free, confidential face-to-face and email business counseling. Business counseling and workshops are offered at 389 chapter offices across the country.
- The Entrepreneurs' Organization
The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) - for entrepreneurs only - is a dynamic, global network of more than 7,000 business owners in 38 countries. Founded in 1987 by a group of young entrepreneurs, EO is the catalyst that enables entrepreneurs to learn and grow from each other, leading to greater business success and an enriched personal life.

- The National Business Incubation Association
The National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) is a leading organization advancing business incubation and entrepreneurship. It provides thousands of professionals with the information, education, advocacy and networking resources to bring excellence to the process of assisting early-stage companies worldwide. The association is composed primarily of incubator developers and managers, but technology commercialization specialists, educators and business assistance professionals are also well represented. Its mission is to provide training and a clearinghouse for information on incubator management and development issues and on tools for assisting start-up and fledgling firms.

The National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) fosters invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship in higher education as a way of creating innovative, commercially viable, and socially beneficial businesses and employment opportunities in the United States. The program was founded on the premise that invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship are essential components of the higher education curriculum and vital to the nation’s economic future. The NCIIA works with colleges and universities to build collaborative experiential learning programs that help nurture a new generation of innovators and entrepreneurs with strong technical and business skills and the tools and intention to make the world a better place.
